Call in ahead with your sweet+savoury requests. If it is available, we will pack it up for you to pick up on the same day.Full payment is requested by providing credit card information over the phone. The order is processed and set aside especially for you.

We stives to answer the phones quickly and efficiently. Most phone call entail putting items aside and we take quite a bit of information to fulfill the order. Please keep trying, we appreciate your papatience.

DO YOU HAVE VEGAN PRODUCTS?

We do have a large variety of sweet and savoury vegan products although we are not exclusively vegan.

Please see our online ordering for details.

DO YOU OFFER GF

( GLUTEN FREE ) PRODUCTS?

We are not a gluten free facility. Flour is in our bakery. We have some items, like our amazing Sleepy G Granola Bars, that do not contain gluten but we cannot guarantee that anything made in the bakery

has not come in contact with flour.

DO YOU HAVE NUT-FREE PRODUCTS - IS YOUR FACILITY NUT FREE?

No. We use a lot of nuts in the bakery and cannot guarantee that anything made in the bakery has not come in contact with peanuts or other nuts.

DO YOU HAVE SEATING?

We do not have seating in the Dundurn bakery, however we do there are benches and some seating outside

WHAT PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

For WALK IN purchases we accept Cash

Credit Cards include - Visa/MC

All other orders must go through our online system for pre-orders.

Online ordering accepts - Visa Debit and Credit Cards.

I HAVE A PLASTIC C+L GIFTCARD, HOW DO I USE IT ONLINE?

AS OF DEC 2021 - WE ARE NOW BACK ON TRACK WITH PLASTIC GIFTCARDS - IN STORE PURCHASES ONLY.

However, if you want, we can provide you with a custom one time use Promo Code to use online at check out. As this is a one time use code, please let us know if you would like it to be divided in any way.

Please email hello@cakeandloaf .ca - give your name (first and last) and the #'s on your plastic giftcard located on the back of the card - we can check the balance and create a Promo code for you. Complete with instructions on use.

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED TO ORDER A CAKE?

All Cake orders must be placed on our Online Curbside Ordering plateform.

Pre-Ordering Window opens on FRIDAYS AT 6PM - TUESDAYS 9AM - while quantities last.

This is for the following week for Wednesday - Saturday Pick up.

You can order up to 3 months in advance!

HOW DO I CANCEL MY CAKE?

WHY ARE SOME CAKE BOXES TAPED OPEN AND COVERED IN PLASTIC WRAP?

YAY! We finally found taller cake boxes for our 6" and 8" cakes that won't break the bank - these will be rollin' out with cakes in the new year 2022!

All of our cakes are quite tall – 5-5.5″ tall for most and we have been trying to source out proper boxes for the past 2 years. Most of the box companies we found offered appropriate boxes for our height but the price per unit was outlandishly high and the minimum orders would not fit in our storage.

Larger cakes are more challenging as they may be 2-4 tiers or have appliqués on top, but we MacGyver a suitable covering to ensure your cake is safe! This may leave the cake lid slightly open with saran wrap acting as a barrier and cover.
