Cake+Loaf Bakery wants to continue to be the best part of your day!
As always, we uphold high Health + Safety Standards and have taken steps to ensure all our employees are educated and taking all the extra precautions, upholding COVID -19 policies and procedures during this time. We want to ensure your visit is both safe and enjoyable.
Starting March 21, 2020, the Mask Mandate will be lifted in Ontario.
Always with an abundance of caution and safety, Cake+Loaf has decided to keep masks in effect for staff + patrons within our premises. The safety, well being and mental health of our employees is of the utmost importance in creating a safe space and environment for our customers.
WE WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE GETS THEIR SWEETS +
WILL ACCOMMODATE. PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK!

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
1. We have newly opened up our space as of Nov 17, 2021
to THREE ( 3 ) customer occupants at one time.
Masks are to be worn at all times by the
Customer and C+L Staff within the store.
If you are NOT wearing a mask,
we will kindly have to ask you to leave + return wearing one!
Customer Hand Sanitizer is provided.
If there are THREE ( 3 ) people in the store, please line up 6 feet ( 2 meters) apart socially distancing, wearing a mask in a line forming away from
the parking lot beside the bakery - towards the corner and Aberdeen St.
IMPORTANT:
If the city/area in which you live is in a lock down situation, please be safe and reconsider ordering or plan for an alternative pick up.
2. All high traffic touch point surfaces within this physical
barrier will be disinfected regularly.
- This includes door handles and the front door glass touch points,
as well as our payment counter area and hand off points.
3. All payment equipment will receive additional cleaning after every use and
C+L staff will be diligently washing their hands and using the provided Hand Sanitizer in the space before and after each interaction.
4. Our bakers and makers will also be ensuring their hands and work spaces are extra clean + disinfected while preparing all that’s delicious!
Physical distancing is maintained within the work space,
masks are worn and our days are organized and scheduled to maintain
a low staff number in the building at any given time.
5. All our employees have been instructed to uphold and maintain their personal bubbles as stated by the Province of Ontario and
The City of Hamilton guidelines during this time.
The Owners and Managers monitor compliance daily.
Screening Questions and Temperature Checks are included in our daily procedures. All employees are instructed to stay home if any illness
(no matter how small) is indicated, complete a self assessment provided
by The Province of Ontario and The City of Hamilton
and report to the Owners for follow up.
6. Full transparency and messaging should anyone contract COVID 19,
Customer or C+L Staff will be Announced in a timely manner
and all following procedures as mandated by the Province of Ontario
and The City of Hamilton will be upheld and actioned immediately.

this time as we navigate this strange new bakery world.
